3 big Joseph’s pita bread rounds, cut in half
1 3-oz package cream cheese
1 8-oz carton plain non-fat yogurt
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon mustard
1 12-oz luncheon meat, shopped
1/2 cup stoned black olives
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 big tomato
Chopped fresh basil leaves
*Makes 6 servings
- Whip cream cheese until softened. Add yogurt, milk, and mustard. Mix all until well-blended and smooth.
- Add luncheon meat and olives.
- Fill halved Joseph’s pita bread rounds with mixture.
- Put shredded cheese, chopped tomato, and basil on top of each sandwich.
