Q: Which allergens are found in Joseph’s Bakery products?
A: Eight foods account for nearly 90% of all food-related allergic reactions. They are: milk, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy and wheat. All Joseph’s Bakery flour tortillas and wraps contain wheat. Milk and soy may also be found in our products, depending on the formulation. Joseph’s Bakery products do not contain eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish or shellfish. Our Allergen Labeling Page provides complete ingredient and allergen information.
Q: Are Joseph’s Bakery products zero trans fat?
A: Joseph’s Bakery Foods is proud to offer fresh tortilla products with zero trans fat. Our zero trans fat content won’t affect the quality or performance of your Joseph’s Bakery Foods products a bit.
Q: Are Joseph’s Bakery products Vegan?
A: Joseph’s Bakery Foods brand products are not manufactured with animal derived ingredients, making them acceptable for vegetarian and vegan diets.
Q: Are Joseph’s Bakery products Kosher?
A: Our plant has been Kosher certified for over 35 years. All our foods are Kosher. Look for the Kosher symbol in our packaging.
Q: Can you freeze Joseph’s Bakery Pita Bread?
A: Yes, but we recommend enjoying it fresh! If you are not going to eat the bread within 48 hours you should freeze it. It is best to freeze it as close to fresh as possible. If you buy 2 bags and only intend to use 1 right away freeze the 2nd bag the day you purchase it. Pita Bead can be frozen up to 2 months or refrigerated up to 7 days.
